Confession: I wear my “fat” pants…
….because I am too scared to try on my smaller pants.
These are the pants that fit me snuggly at my highest, 270. Currently these pants are so loose that I have then rigged with safety pins and walk with my hand on my hip to keep them from falling off.
My smaller pants are 2 sizes smaller and fit me loosely when I was 8 pounds less than I am now. So I SHOULD be able to easily fit into them now, but I am too chicken to try.
I sound like a crazy person but I don’t want to risk them not fitting.
I’ve even had people tell me that my pants are swallowing me, but I just ignore it.
Yep…I’ve got pants issues. lol

You should try them! And if they fit (even barely!) just bring your other pants with you to work so in case you can’t handle wearing them all day you can just change. (I do this quite frequently with pants and shoes!)

I understand. :)
I just had to buy two pair of pants (and two scrub tops), because I can no longer fit into the ones I’ve been wearing since last spring. I swore that this wouldn’t happen and, yet, it did.

Don’t be afraid to try them on. Worst case scenario - You don’t like the way they are fitting. That should certainly give you some fantastic motivation to keep on working hard! :-)

You need to get in the smaller pants - even if they are tight. I know for myself if you put me in my fat pants I will grow into them. When my pants are tight I know I have to shut my pie hole and move my body.

Haha I enjoyed this post. I often wear bigger pants too because I hate the idea of trying to wear pants that are smaller.. what if they don’t fit? I get sad then so I just stick with bigger pants that I know fit :)
