Healthy Camping?

I need some ideas from you all.

I am going camping for the first time this weekend from Friday to Sunday down in St. Augustine. I’m super excited! It should be lots of fun! There are about 25-30 of us going.

My goal is to make this trip as healthy as possible. I’m planning on doing some fishing, kayaking, and trail runs with some friends.

Here’s where I’m drawing a blank…food.

I’m not really planning on eating the food that will be provided by everyone. I want to pack my own stuff. What the heck should I bring that won’t go bad and is relatively healthy???

So far I’ve got:
-granola bars
-oranges
-apples
-peanut butter/almond butter
-almonds
-carrots
-beef jerky?

What do you suggest I bring for 3 days of eating/snacking???

  3. runalwaysrun said: Lots of the pouches of tuna. You can eat them right out of the pouch. Too mant carbs on that list and not enough protein.
